The Towner Art Gallery, Eastbourne

My painting Digital Human will be part of a group show at the Towner Gallery in Eastbourne. The exhibition will run from the 7th -9th of June.

The exhibition is a touring selection of the work that has been donated by artists and is in aid of  Chestnut Tree House, a local children’s Hospice and Brighton Dome. I am very pleased to be donating to such a worthy cause. The work will be auctioned on ebay starting on the 1st of july.

Working on an A1 wooden panel with oil. Great for achieving blurring and movement.Always fascinated by the anonymity of a crowd! You can see the work at my studio @Weststreetloft  on Saturday which is open from 10-3pm.

Feeling inspired after my weekend trip to Phoenix Studios in Brighton. The studios were open for just one weekend as part of Brighton festival. Fantastic range of work from around 120 artists.

I also visited the exhibition at Brighton University by #gillianwearing as part of the @HOUSE_Festival entitled ‘A Room With Your View’. A Mesmerising video of 700 views pieced together from 163 countries. The blind rolls up or the curtain rolls back and you are presented by something new. I was not only mesmerised by the reveal of each new image, but also by the sounds that came with them. So diverse and yet the same! Great work and on for the next couple of weeks.
